The Alpha Biologics facility design team has extensive experience
of designing and building cGMP compliant biologics facilities
in Europe, the USA and Asia. Most of these facilities have
undergone at least one successful FDA audit.
The
acting Chief Executive Officer is Tristan Brittain-Dissont.
The Director of
Manufacturing is Michelle Peake. Michelle is based
in Penang and has more than 10 years in the biologics
industry, including being responsible for the day-to-day
operation of a cGMP compliant contract manufacturing
facility that has been the subject of a successful EMEA
audit in the UK.
Derek Russell has
over 30 years experience in the fields of pharmaceutical
engineering, biopharmaceuticals and biotechnology and fine
chemicals. Derek is
Alpha's consultant engineer and an integral member of our
team. His responsibilities include the facility and process
design, including the bioprocess equipment, for our cGMP
facility in Malaysia.
Recruitment
of the rest of the staff is ongoing, with the team expected
to comprise a combination of experienced staff from Europe,
the USA, Malaysia and other Asian countries such as India.
